PBL reflection

Welcome back coyote pack! Today I will be blogging about
my PBL. I have worked very hard on this task. I am very proud of my PBL project.
I Hope You Enjoy!

Project Topic: Gymnastics

Photo/Screenshot of Project (insert below)

Finish these starters:
  • Something I enjoyed about my project was drawing the gymnast because it was tricky but I did it. I tried my personal best. It was fun.

  • The most challenging thing about my project was adding the two girls doing the splits because they would keep on breaking, and falling But I finally managed to do it.

  • The main skill I got better at was, not giving up even if it kept on breaking.
  •  I got better at it by being more careful, and not being rough with the paper
  • What I would most like to change about my project is the two girls at the bottom, because they kinda ruin the poster. But I am still happy with my poster.

  • I would like to do my next PBL about dogs. I will make a poster, and a video about dogs. I will pick one dog breed and make my poster and video about them.

Choose three learning muscles and explain how you used them during your PBL.

Absorption: I used this muscle by staying focused in my learning, and not showing any attention to the distractions around me.

Managing Distractions: I used this muscle by moving away or ignoring the distractions around me.

Noticing: I used this muscle by noticing people around who are being my distractions. When I see them, I move away so I can get along with my work.

Colour Poem

Welcome back coyote pack! Today I will be blogging about my colour poem.
I am very proud of my colour poem!
I hope you enjoy!

Colour Poem

WALT to use descriptive language to help create an image (picture) in our reader's head

Success Criteria
  • Use adjectives to describe the noun
  • Use adverbs to describe the verb (describe how the action is happening)
  • Use a range of verbs to explain what is happening
  • Use a range of nouns that help us identify with a colour

Black is the Colour of…….

  • A wicked witch zooming dangerously from castle to castle in search of potions
  • A lazy cat waiting patiently by the roaring fire for its night-time feed
  • A  majestic panther stalking its prey tactfully through the dense forest
  • A piece of licorice inviting me to sneak it from the brightly coloured box

Red is the colour of ……..
  • Slippery lipstick running down my face
  • A bright red Ferrari zooming fast in the race
  • Blood running down my foot, puddling on the ground
  • A rotten strawberry smelling like cheese
  • The sweet juicy raspberry dripping  from my mouth as I bite into it
  • A juicy watermelon inviting me to chomp on it
  • The courageous vampire biting into a man’s fresh skin squirting blood

Here is my Colour Poem!

Green is the color of……

  • The ugly green goblin, is slobbering down on his, slimy slugs, like a beast!
  • Beautiful leaves, fly down from the beautiful, rimu tree majestically.
  • Sweet taste of green mint rushes, like a wave of freshness. It’s like sizzling in your mouth.
  • Wavy grass shooting up from the ground, like worms being pulled up from the dirt by birds.
